While migrating the web console from Apache Sling to Apache Felix, the bundle installation/update functionality through OBR has been lost. This functionality should be added to the web console again.

Felix Meschberger closed FELIX-747.

Resolution: Fixed
Implemented in Rev. 700067. The actual deployment happens asynchronously. The bundles actually installed are logged to the LogService.
