Unfortunately I still get an error when passing the raw JSON
 > gs$ls()
Error: Invalid: google::cloud::Status(INVALID_ARGUMENT: Permanent error in ListObjects: Invalid ServiceAccountCredentials: could not parse PEM to get private key ). Detail: [errno 22] Invalid argument
