Line 245: the devtoolset will result in `Host compiler appears to require libatomic, but cannot find it.`
I think this is fine for this 0.7.0 release, but would be better, I think, to just insert a quick check in the top of the build script that verifies a sufficiently new compiler is being used and prints a nice error message.
