Source repository and access issue
Dear All,
I'm trying to get the latest of ofbiz as specified under http://docs.ofbiz.org/display/OFBADMIN/Source+Repository+and+Access
When trying to with the following:
"svn co http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/ofbiz/trunk ofbiz"
I got the following error message:
svn: REPORT request failed on '/repos/asf/!svn/vcc/default'
svn: REPORT of '/repos/asf/!svn/vcc/default': Could not read status line: An existing connection was
forcibly closed by the remote host. (http://svn.apache.org)
However, I can access the old OfBiz SVN repository without any problem.
"svn co http://svn.ofbiz.org/svn/ofbiz/trunk ofbiz"
What is the difference?
Regards,
Mathius

Sounds like a proxy issue, maybe it helps to check out with https:
svn co https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/ofbiz/trunk ofbiz"

No - it is very old. The command that's being provided is accurate.
Try SVN version 1.3 - not sure if that'll help, but it's worth a
shot. Anybody else seeing these errors?
Cheers,
Tim

Hi Krzysztof,
I am still not able to access (still the same error message) "svn co http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/ofbiz/trunk ofbiz" BUT it is working fine with "svn co http://svn.ofbiz.org/svn/ofbiz/trunk ofbiz"
Is the OfBiz version at http://svn.ofbiz.org/svn/ofbiz/trunk the same as the version at http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/ofbiz/trunk ?
Details of my svn client:

On Windows I have svn 1.4.2 (r22196) and it works too
try reinstall to this version. If you cant connect after reinstall, check
your connection, firewall etc. Maybe it's something else.
