[jira] Commented: (JCR-1207) predicate support of
descendant-or-self axis
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCR-1207?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12597215#action_12597215 ]
Matthijs Wensveen commented on JCR-1207:
----------------------------------------
While there is talk of the descendant-or-self axis, the example given is of the the shorthand form of the descendant axis. The descendant axis is supported, but not whithin predicates, AFAIK.

> As described at the bottom of JCR-247, support for predicates on the descendant axis would be a helpful feature, one that we have recently realized we needed with our soon to be in production system, and one that we currently have no workarounds for.
