Mark Struberg resolved OPENJPA-2843.
------------------------------------
    Fix Version/s: 3.1.3
       Resolution: Fixed

implemented via reflection. Tested against WAS-9.0.5.5.

How to upgrade a running WebSphere Enterprise server to OpenJPA-3.1.x:

Just copy the required libraries into theĀ {{lib/ext}} folder in your WebSphere installation.
Also in {{Application servers > WAS_CL01_Member01 > Default Java Persistence API settings}}:
Turn on {{Specify an alternate default persistence provider}} and set it to {{org.apache.openjpa.persistence.PersistenceProviderImpl}}.
The 2.1 JPA Specification level has to be selected in the dropdown box.

> again and again the uow_api dependency leads to compilation issues due to old unlisted repo.
