RE: Problem with build.xml [RE: [jira] Updated: (TUSCANY-2684) README file update for domain-management sample]

Hi Ram,

Thanks for looking into this.

Actually, I was trying SCA-Java's 1.3.2 Binary Release [1]

The ant build generates following JAR file:

    sample-domain-management.jar

Whereas, the Maven generates following JAR files in addition to the one mentioned above:

  sample-domain-management-assets.jar
  sample-domain-management-client.jar
  sample-domain-management-store.jar

In addition, it also generates some test-classes which are required to run the sample.

I also tried building the distribution from the 1.x branch [2]. It also has the same issue with the ant build.

Looks like the build.xml needs to be updated to generate the required directory structure.

Thanks,
Dhaval

Hi Dhaval,

I tried building the domain-management sample using ant and it works fine for me.

Not sure how you are testing the sample, make sure that you build the distribution before running the ant files

as the dependencies will not be available when you try to build normally.

I have attached the patch for the TUSCANY-2684) that contains the update for the README file of the domain-management sample.

Currently the sample can only be built with Maven.

The build.xml file had some dependency issues. I tried fixing them but still there exists some other issues.
I was unable to build the full sample using ant.

Looks like the ant script is not generating required artifacts.

Does anybody have any idea on this?

Thanks,
Dhaval

Looks like there some conflicts with the dependencies in the build.xml file.
