[jira] [Updated] (TEZ-3009) Errors that occur during container task acquisition are not logged

Jason Lowe updated TEZ-3009:
----------------------------
    Attachment: TEZ-3009.001.patch

Patch that adds logging of errors that occur during task fetch. Manually tested by forcing ContainerReporter to throw a runtime exception and inspecting the container log.

Speaking of inspecting the container log, if this does occur for a job I don't think it's possible for a user to navigate via the Tez UI to the container log that has the error. The task attempt will mention the container that exited, but there's no way that I know of to navigate to the logs of a given container via the Tez UI.

> If TezChild encounters an error while trying to obtain a task the error will be silently handled. This results in a mysterious shutdown of containers with no cause.
