[jira] [Created] (NIFI-2408) If a node is disconnected, it should
still provide user ability to see the 'cluster screen'
Mark Payne created NIFI-2408:
--------------------------------
Summary: If a node is disconnected, it should still provide user ability to see the 'cluster screen'
Key: NIFI-2408
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-2408
Project: Apache NiFi
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Core UI
Reporter: Mark Payne
Fix For: 1.0.0
A decision was made a while back that if a node is disconnected from the cluster, the 'cluster screen' should not be available in the menu in the top-right corner. However, after using the app like this, I now think it was a bad decision. The node is still part of the cluster, even though it is disconnected. Unless the user clicks 'remove', the node is a part of the cluster, so should be able to render the cluster information.
