   ## Motivation
   
   The existing assertion verifies that deprecated classes are excluded from the effective public API set, but the assertion did not provide a descriptive failure message.
   
   ## Changes
   
   Added a failure message to the assertion in `ApiSurfaceScannerTest` to make test failures easier to understand and diagnose.
   
   ## Testing
   
   ```
   ./gradlew :api-checker:core:test --tests org.apache.kafka.apicheck.ApiSurfaceScannerTest
   ```
   
   Passed successfully.
