> DataStax CQL v3.3 document on now() function here (http://docs.datastax.com/en/cql/3.3/cql/cql_reference/timeuuid_functions_r.html) states that it is generated on the coordinator, but this is not reflected on the apache cassandra CQL3 spec. Since it is a minor addition, there's no urgency to add it and the commit can stay in trunk.
