in character style endnote anchor
I set relative font size to 100%, raise/lower by 33%

program produces a html head containing the following line:

A.sdendnoteanc { font-size: 57% }

I have to delete this line to get the desired result

No other html editor (WYSIWYG or otherwise) can automatically generate
footnotes. You would have to generate the numbers yourself and insert anchors
and links. This is a good enough reason for using openoffice to produce HTML.
The fact that it only supports an old version of html is of no importance to me
as all browsers support render it correctly. Of course it would be nice if it
supported external style sheets etc.

It is still a bug even if the functionality is considered obsolete.

I don't recommend using AOO as HTML editor because it still saves files as HTML
3.x. This format is completely out of date.
Use another software like Kompozer or BlueGriffon.
