DynaActionForm and indexes
I'd like to display a table of data (several columns and rows). It is easiest to describe what I want using pseudo-code:
<Iterate over users objects>
<textbox: users.name>
<combobox: users.status>
<end iterate>
Where "users" is a collection. Users[i].name returns a non-primitive based object whose toString() doesn't give a displayable value. In other words, I'd have to catch the request for user[i].name and return a string.
Sample output:
Fred Single
Ann Married
Bob Married
I get the impression DynaActionForms are useful since they have a method (public Object get(String name, int index)) that I can override and return a string. However, I cannot see under what circumstances this is called. Some sample code/pointer would be appreciated.
Or any other suggestions?
TIA
Praful
