Avalon's future

How the distributed avalon architecture is going?  :-)

After the RT which involved Jini I bought a book ("A programmers Guide to
JINI technology") and find it a lot interesting and with a lot of concepts
which overlaps like services lookups, configurations, et cetera.

Please lets keep this idea alive.
