How to remove base url from index entries

I need to be able to build my index on one machine and move it to another.
Currently, my search links contain full URLs, which will be invalid when
moved to the other machine.  Is there a way to specify that the URLs not
include protocol + servername? Or a way to remap URLs from one base URL to
another?
