assertion failure in VC++

Hello everyone:

I got an assertion failure error in Xalansourcetree when I run this code.
The platform is VC++6 and Win2000

XalanSourceTreeInit		theSourceTreeInit;

			// We'll use these to parse the XML file.
			XalanSourceTreeDOMSupport
theDOMSupport;
			XalanSourceTreeParserLiaison
theLiaison(theDOMSupport);

			// Hook the two together...
			theDOMSupport.setParserLiaison(&theLiaison);

			// Parse the document...
			XalanDocument* const	theDocument =
	
theLiaison.parseXMLStream(*m_pmemBufXML

The error message is like this when it reached the last statement.

Expression: m_inDTD==true

Anyone knows whethere it is something wrong in xalan or in my code?  Thanks
