Then how can we implement the redirect-after-post pattern in a Portlet
container? Without redirects, when a user submits a form and refreshes
the browser, the form data is submitted once again which, of course,
can lead to a lot of troubles...

and the comments on the links you provided say that the portal should
implement the RAP pattern. Not the portlet.
