maven-compiler-plugin

Hi,

I am running a ant task inside maven2 for compiling xml schemas using 
jaxb1.0.4. It is working fine, generating the .java files into 
target/generated-source folder. How do I get maven compiler to include 
them to compile.. I am trying to use the plugin like this, but the output 
jar file does not include any of the class files.
                        <plugin>
                                <groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId
>
                                <artifactId>maven-compiler-plugin</
artifactId>
                                <configuration>
                                        <source>1.5</source>
                                        <target>1.5</target>
                                        <includes>
                                                <include>
target/generated-source/**</include>
                                        </includes>
                                </configuration>
                        </plugin>
Please let me know what is missing in here..
