The pod2man thingy sounds like a really old ExtUtils::MakeMaker bug. But 
without the output we can't do much about it, so: 
1. Please *attach* (via the link above) the generated Makefile 
2. Please copy-and-paste the output you get when you do the `perl Makefile.PL` 
3. Please copy-and-paste the output of `perl -V`
