   I had read through the [contributing guide](https://spark.apache.org/contributing.html) and saw this:
   
   > trivial changes, where the what should change is virtually the same as the how it should change do not require a JIRA.
   
   I'm wondering - did I misinterpret the size of this change? Or is this^ line in the contributing guide out of date?
