Get the File-Date of the source-file

Hi, 

one question. I want to alter my main website-xsl that it shows the date of the source-dokument. Is there a way to do that with XSL or XSP ? Since the webbrowser candisplay these dates, I thought mabe there is some non-XSP-way.

Tho only thing I could come up with was to get the requested URL. Open the file and get the attributes, but that won't help me when integrating XHTML-content from other sources.
