Summary: Cannot use Http Authorization Manager separately for
                    Include Controllers
           Product: JMeter
           Version: Nightly (Please specify date)
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Main
        AssignedTo: jmeter-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: frankyhro@gmx.de

Tested with JMeter 2.3RC4

I use several Include Controllers in separate Thread Groups.
When I place a Http Authorization Manager on top of the test plan
all works fine. But when I place the Http Authorization Managers separately
in every Thread Group nothing works. The Http Samplers report me "not authorized"
exceptions.

Created an attachment (id=20841)
 --> (http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=20841&action=view)
Testpan with two jmx files in a zip file.

Two jmx files:
Test1.jmx : Testplan with a include controller, that is assigned to
"IncludeController.jmx"

IncludeController.jmx: Only displays the google main screen, but the Servername
and Port are in the "Http Defaults" in Test1.jmx

This testplan does not! work if you put the "Http defaults" as a child under
the thread group. But if you put the "Http defaults" into the root of the
testplan it works fine.

Can you attach a sample test plan that does not work?

By the way, nothing seems to work, if I try to use some controllers especially
for some (or one) Include Controller: Cookie Manager, Http request defaults,
User defined variables.

------- Additional Comments From sebb@apache.org 2007-09-18 01:07 -------
The include file is incorrect; it should not have a thread group in it.

>From the documentation for the Include Controller:

"To use it, add samples to a simple controller, then save the simple
controller as a jmx file. The file can then be used in a test plan."
