[jira] [Created] (INFRA-5771) Questions for mirror

Seongho Jang created INFRA-5771:
-----------------------------------

             Summary: Questions for mirror
                 Key: INFRA-5771
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-5771
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Task
      Security Level: public (Regular issues)
          Components: Mirrors
         Environment: Linux
            Reporter: Seongho Jang

Dear, ASF support...

I'm going to prepare a private mirror server for the developers who could not connect internet directly because of the company security policy.I asked them what they want to be mirrored.
Here it is.

http://mirror.apache-kr.org/cassandra/
http://apache.mirror.cdnetworks.com/hadoop
http://apache.mirror.cdnetworks.com/hbase/
http://apache.mirror.cdnetworks.com/hive/
http://apache.mirror.cdnetworks.com/mahout/
http://apache.mirror.cdnetworks.com/pig/
http://apache.mirror.cdnetworks.com/zookeeper/
http://mirror.apache-kr.org/maven/
http://apache.tt.co.kr/tomcat

My questions are like this:

Q. rsync is the right tool ?
According to Maven guide (http://maven.apache.org/repository-management.html) , the proxy repository management is needed ( like Artifactory or Nexus ).

Q. Mirroring request method.
Is it enough to submit a issue as written on http://www.apache.org/info/how-to-mirror.html ??

Thanks in advance.
