[jira] [Commented] (HBASE-24755) [LOG][RSGroup]Error message is confusing while adding a offline RS to rsgroup

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-24755?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17162733#comment-17162733 ]

Pankaj Kumar commented on HBASE-24755:
--------------------------------------

{quote}Move a offine RS from default RSGroup to another RSGroup
{quote}
Default RSGroup will have LIVE servers which do not belong to any other RSGroup. A dead RegionSever doesn't belong to default RSGRoup when it is dead.

IMO error message makes sense here, anything I missed [~mokai87] ?

> Move a offine RS from default RSGroup to another RSGroup. The error messge says 'Source RSGroup for server xxx does not exist.'. It's confusing.
