Missing required persistence.xml for @PersistenceContext ref "em" to unit ""

Hi All,

newbie question. I am using a stateless bean which doesn't inject any
EntityManager or has got anything to do with persistence . When I start
TomEE, I see exceptions like these

*Missing required persistence.xml for @PersistenceContext ref "em" to unit
""*

Is persistence.xml required for TomEE ? Is there a way to avoid defining it
?
