This one with the unsubscribe message quoted chastising the the
requester, is missing the unsubscribe message!

One with the entire source. Perhaps some one can go through it, figure
out what went wrong, and correct the problem or notify someone who can.

Hello!
I recently installed Open Office 4.1.3 which works excellent, except one
problem. I have an adress list installed in Excel, including names,
phonenumbers and e-mail adresses. When I place the cursor over an
e-mail adress and open it, a preset name of a sender comes up, and it is
not possible change this name. Please tell me how to change the name of
the sender and how get rid of this problem. I use Morzilla Thunderbird.

With best regards from

Just for additional clarification, the OpenOffice PMC would be totally
for a better and more flexible mailing list management. The entity who
resisted changes (and for an understandable reason, since this puts
additional strain on them; so we can't really demand, but merely ask) is
Infra, as plenty of issues started by me and others in the Infra JIRA show.

Regards,
   Andrea.

True, but it is not something that moderators have any control over. In
fact our moderators really have only 2 choices, either "accept" or "reject".

In the days of OOo moderators had the facility to tag the subject line
of posts moderated through to the list, but previous requests to the AOO
PMC to provide similar facilities for this list have been strongly
resisted. The justification being that the mailing list software
<sarcasm> just like ALL software </sarcasm> cannot be modified to add
new features.

It seems that most mails that where filtered by moderators don't have
the footers
From the start of this year there where 159 filtered by moderators only
48 had a footer

the problem is that when I try to save a doc in Word it changes the Font puts me on Pages instead changes the Font and makes it really unreadable
and I get red underlines on all my emails, and some Documents .
My spelling is changed from what I type and sometimes if I am in hurra and don’t proofread I send utter nonsense.
I am also having Trouble with my old email at AIM.com <http://aim.com/> i get this little coloured rotating ball chic then Freezes my email.
it is also creating Capitals when I haven’t typed them
I would appreciate it if you can help.

Re: Missing unsubscribe link in messages

Posted by Tony Christian <af...@westnet.com.au>.
Regarding the ongoing unsubscribe requests some of the issues there are
large number of users who just are not computer literate. So having or
not having the unsub details just will not make any difference.

The general perception that this august help group is a human entity,
whilst in reality we are just a disparate group with a common OO
interest with the help of computers. End users think there is a human
behind the scene.

So I think just be kind to the unsub requests. Lamenting will not change
anything.
