[jira] [Created] (WEAVER-27) Generic method interceptor module

Juan Farré created WEAVER-27:
--------------------------------

             Summary: Generic method interceptor module
                 Key: WEAVER-27
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WEAVER-27
             Project: Commons Weaver
          Issue Type: Wish
          Components: modules
            Reporter: Juan Farré

I would really like to use Commons Weaver as a replacement for AspectJ, but the truth is I find it too low-level to be a practical alternative, unless you want to use the privilizer or normalizer modules.

I think it would be handy to have a generic method interceptor module which allows for performing before/after/around actions. Methods could be located using types, method name patterns and/or annotations.

In my opinion, this functionality would cover a high percentage of practical needs for class weaving and could increase adoption.
