Syntax Error
Hello,
I'm running SA version 2.63 with procmail on Solaris 2.6. Yesterday, I
switched to using spamd/spamc programs from spamassassin. When I start up
spamd as follows:
root> /usr/local/bin/spamd <enter>
I start getting the following errors:
Failed to run header SpamAssassin tests, skipping some: syntax error at
(eval 19) line 302, near ") {"
syntax error at (eval 19) line 373, near ";
}"
The mail is processing fine and I have the following process running:
root 21911 2224 0 01:53:38 pts/0 1:23 /usr/local/bin/perl -T
/usr/local/bin/spamd
Does anyone know what I can do to stop the error from popping up?
Thanks in advance,
Nelly.

First question: did you edit ANYTHING in /usr/share/spamassassin? If so,
re-install and don't do that again.
Otherwise Generally this is a typo or other problem in one of your site or
user config files. Use spamassassin --lint to help you track it down. I'd
start by moving any custom rulefiles (in /etc/mail/spamassasssin), local.cf
and user_prefs entirely out of their directories and see if lint runs
clean. If it does, put them back one at a time and see which one causes it
to bomb..
