[jira] [Created] (HDDS-13579) [Docs] Explain how write pipelines are calculated
Wei-Chiu Chuang created HDDS-13579:
--------------------------------------
Summary: [Docs] Explain how write pipelines are calculated
Key: HDDS-13579
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDDS-13579
Project: Apache Ozone
Issue Type: Sub-task
Components: documentation
Reporter: Wei-Chiu Chuang
Ozone uses multiple configuration properties to determine how write pipelines (EC and Ratis) are calculated. It's convoluted hard to understand.
The Production Deployment page (https://ozone.apache.org/docs/edge/start/productiondeployment.html) briefly mentions it but still not nearly enough.
We need a user doc section to explain in details. Add examples to make it easier to understand. Finally, provide recommended values for production deployments.
