[jira] Updated: (AMQ-301) Add a command line option that would
cause the broker to generate the DDL script needed for the SQL DB
[ https://issues.apache.org/activemq/browse/AMQ-301?page=all ]
Hiram Chirino updated AMQ-301:
------------------------------
Summary: Add a command line option that would cause the broker to generate the DDL script needed for the SQL DB (was: auto-create the DDL scripts for each possible database as part of the release)
Fix Version: 4.2
Title was: "auto-create the DDL scripts for each possible database as part of the release", but since there would be a ton of DDL scripts since all databases are slightly different, and based on the server configuration, the DDL may change.
I think it's a better option to support a command line argument that instead of starting a broker, it produces the DDL script that the broker thinks would work with the current database configuration.

> Rather than relying on dynamic table creation, we should create the DDL using a build tool as part of the release.l
