[Daemon] outputfiles gets truncated on startup

Summary: [Daemon] outputfiles gets truncated on startup
           Product: Commons
           Version: 1.0 Alpha
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Minor
          Priority: Other
         Component: Daemon
        AssignedTo: commons-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: noa@resare.com

Annoying for debugging, the files passed as -outfile or -errfile arguments to
jsvc gets truncated when jsvc starts up.

Apart from being annoying this is inconsistent with the behaviour of other tools.
