LineHeight And Font Size comprehension

Hi,

Please, can you explain me why the space between this two examples is diff�rent ?
I use Fop 1.1

Example 1
<fo:block line-height="36pt"><fo:inline font-family="Helvetica" font-size="36pt">AAAAAAAAAAAAA</fo:inline></fo:block>
<fo:block line-height="36pt"><fo:inline font-family="Helvetica" font-size="36pt">AAAAAAAAAAAAA</fo:inline></fo:block>

Example 2
<fo:block line-height="36pt" font-size="36pt"><fo:inline font-family="Helvetica" font-size="36pt">AAAAAAAAAAAAA</fo:inline></fo:block>
