replication between solr 3.1 and 4.x

Is it possible to replicate solr between diffrent versions ? (in my case
between 3.1 (master) and 4.x(slave)))?

All i get is:

May 06, 2013 2:28:00 PM org.apache.solr.handler.SnapPuller fetchFileList
SEVERE: No files to download for index generation: 3
