inputSuggestAjax and onchange

Hi,

I'm using that component, and in my webapp I need to launch some code 
when the user selects an item in dropdown list.

I tried to use onchange event, but it is useless, because it is 
triggered *before* I choose an item, and NOT after, when the item is 
copied in input field.

suggestions ?
