site plugin fails

I seem to keep getting an error getting this plugin when I run site:site 
site:deploy.

I have removed

It seems the codehaus snapshots repository is down, but when I comment out 
the codehaus snapshot repository entry in my settings.xml it still fails. 
Any ideas?
