[jira] Created: (MASSEMBLY-435) DependencySet: outputDirectory
expression using ${artifact.baseVersion} uses equivalent of
${project.baseVersion}
DependencySet: outputDirectory expression using ${artifact.baseVersion} uses equivalent of ${project.baseVersion}
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: MASSEMBLY-435
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MASSEMBLY-435
Project: Maven 2.x Assembly Plugin
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 2.2-beta-4
Reporter: John Casey
artifact.baseVersion should apply to the dependency artifact currently being handled, and project.baseVersion should apply to the project for which an assembly is being created. The difference should allow the user to file dependency artifacts in a directory structure according to their base-version.
