[jira] Created: (CASSANDRA-1864) [patch] fix wasteful use of boxing
when not needed
[patch] fix wasteful use of boxing when not needed
--------------------------------------------------
Key: CASSANDRA-1864
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-1864
Project: Cassandra
Issue Type: Improvement
Reporter: Dave Brosius
Priority: Trivial
In places code uses valueOf and expects and int, and other places uses parseInt and expects an Integer. This just wastes time, and potentially creates more garbage for the gc to cleanup.
fix.
