[jira] [Commented] (FOP-2230) RowSpanning will not effect, if there is not a column with all rows

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FOP-2230?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13668196#comment-13668196 ]

Seifeddine Dridi commented on FOP-2230:
---------------------------------------

I found a workaround, it isn't an elegant solution but I think it works just fine. Basically, I retrieve the number of spanned rows for the current cell then check if the cell height is as expected (rows-spanned x default-cell-height). I have assumed that default-cell-height is 18900 (bpd?) because I couldn't find a way to get the cell height before row spanning is applied.

Any feedback is of course welcome.

P.S. Check attached patch
