apjv12 protocol

Sorry if this is a little offtopic...

Could someone please tell me where I can find
details of the apjv12 protocol (or any newer
versions of the protocol that may exist), 
without going over the source code.

I have the spec for apjv11 from the Jserv 
website, and I'm just curious what changes
have been made since then, and also what the
future direction of the protocol might be.
