Excellent! But please follow the steps I outlined in my previous
note. It will help you get registered on the wiki, create a Bugzilla
account, etc. These are the first steps you need to take.

Thanks,

One main problem on MacBook and NetBook - the menus go off the bottom of the screen and can not be accessed.

Hello Duccio,

Welcome to the project. There are a few things you will need to do to
get started. There are accounts you need to sign up for, so you can
edit our wiki, enter bugs into Bugzilla (our issue tracker), etc.

We've put together a special page for new QA volunteers that has all
of this information and instructions.

You can read it here: http://openoffice.apache.org/orientation/intro-qa.html

Let me know if you have any questions!

Regards,

-Rob

Hi Alessio, welcome to the OpenOffice project! Do you have a
preference for what OS to test with?

A good first step would be to add your information to our wiki. We
have two pages for new volunteers:

1) A general directory of volunteers, in all areas:
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OOOUSERS/Directory+of+Volunteers

2) A QA-specific page for listing your testing preferences:
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OOOUSERS/QA+Testing+Preferences

Also, please review our "Intro to QA" page, which has some important
background information. One of the things it will ask you to do is to
sign up for a Bugzilla account. This is the database we use for
tracking bugs. When you get to that part, let me know so I can add
your account to the "qa-team" group in Bugzilla. The Intro to QA
page is here:

http://openoffice.apache.org/orientation/intro-qa.html

Let me know if you have any questions!
