[VOTE] Geronimo 3.0-M1 release - 2nd attempt
A new 3.0-M1 release candidate is ready for review. The LICENSE and
NOTICE problems have been corrected, the README and Release notes are
now correctly included in the binary assemblies, the mini-server version
build and version number problems have been corrected, the xbean
springframework warnings at startup are suppressed, and a general
pruning of subprojects that do not build currently has been performed.
See the JIRA issues here:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/ReleaseNote.jspa?version=12315090&styleName=Text&projectId=10220
Staged to
https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapachegeronimo-043/
The main artifacts up for vote are the source release archives
https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapachegeronimo-043/org/apache/geronimo/geronimo/3.0-M1/geronimo-3.0-M1-source-release.zip
https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapachegeronimo-043/org/apache/geronimo/geronimo/3.0-M1/geronimo-3.0-M1-source-release.tar.gz
If you vote you should at least examine these and make sure something
plausible builds from them.
The voting will be open a minimum of 72 hours.
[ ] +1 about time to push this out the door
[ ] 0 no opinion
[ ] -1 not this one (please explain why)

This is not critical but the deployment-testsuite was missed from
pruning and the pom of web-testsuite needed to be updated a bit after
pruning some of its modules.
I committed the fixes to the branch in case we will have another RC.

Canceled again due to the source license problems.

Looking good... Almost. :-(
The LICENSE files in the binary assemblies are missing the "ADDITIONAL SOURCE LICENSES". I'm guessing that I didn't notice this, last time... IMO, that's a must fix.
There are still a few WARN startup messages. That's minor.
I didn't see any other issues.
Here's my -1
