I dropped a minor comment. Also:
- Can you confirm patch files applied cleanly please?
- I would add 'if applicable' [here|https://github.com/apache/cassandra/pull/1640/files#diff-bc7cfdde47dcf913bec381c90c03b51e430f1e4b34ff2ac1c419d87436c85137R63]. Otherwise my brain parses it as if it forces the use of vnodes whatever it takes :shrug:
