[jira] [Commented] (BIGTOP-1339) hadoop pseudo configuration can be default configuration

Wait, hadoop-conf-pseudo is meant to be a pseudo package that "automates" deployment of such hadoop configuration via dependencies and also providing all of the configuration at once. We absolutely shouldn't be making the conf files it provides the default ones for all the packages you've mentioned since that would require a re-configuration and will be error-prone.

If you're suggesting splitting hadoop-conf-pseudo into sub-packages -- I can agree with that, but it feels like a lot of work for no aparent benefit.

Actually, let me ask you this: what problem are you trying to solve?

> in existing implementation, hadoop-conf-pseudo-2.2.0.x86_64.rpm is to provide hadoop pseudo configuration. we may take hadoop pseudo configuration as hadoop default configuration and move hadoop pseudo configuration to core/hdfs/yarn rpm.
