[jira] [Created] (TRINIDAD-2412) Allow application to specify where
the converter is stored on the parent component
Hugh Zhang created TRINIDAD-2412:
------------------------------------
Summary: Allow application to specify where the converter is stored on the parent component
Key: TRINIDAD-2412
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TRINIDAD-2412
Project: MyFaces Trinidad
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Components
Reporter: Hugh Zhang
Priority: Minor
Currently, the converter is always stored on the "converter" property of the parent UIComponent. It would be helpful if there was an attribute on the converter specifying the property name that it is stored on. This would allow a component to format multiple value types, such as the x and y values of a scatter chart data item.
