   Hi @Startrekzky sure, happy to help answer. 
   
   1) Scarf helps to collect with a variety of de-identified aggregate metrics: unique downloads, version distribution, device type distribution, method of installation, OS distribution, arch distribution, etc. Some further information can be found here: https://docs.scarf.sh/data-export/
   
   2) After merging the two PRs, there's nothing else that needs to be done from a technical standpoint to start collecting data. This represents the simplest form of a Scarf integration, so it's possible that there are additional pieces of instrumentation that could be useful in the future, but for now this would be sufficient to collect some basic analytics.
