Quick Question
Hi,
I have a small question which is not really related directly with SOAP. I
was wondering... is COM platform dependent (Windows dependent) ?!?

Theoretically, no (there are implementations for UNIX). Practically, yes
(they lag behind, are not installed by default, etc. etc.).
