Spec writers should download Apache Open Office 3.4 from http://www.openoffice.org/download/ and then download and install the Template Changer extension http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/project/templatechanger in case you need to make style changes to the template.

Michelle Caisse commented on JDO-716:
-------------------------------------

Spec has been checked in.Have at it. Please read README.odt!! Some glitches remain:
- Blank page 1
- Appendices continue chapter numbering rather than switching to letter names.
- Some headings have numbers appended to them. These are easily found and removed by creating pdf and scanning the bookmarks, then editing the chapter file. I haven't done that yet.
- Some images have migrated away from their captions.

I had trouble with header and footer text disappearing after some changes to the template. Fortunately, it's easy to restore.

The problem with autonumbering of section headings is fixed.
