How can i programatically "Provide an way for retrieving the amount of messages per priority that is waiting to be sent to subscribers"

How can i programatically achieve the following functionality in ActiveMQ.

1. Provide a way of pausing/resuming the transmission of messages by
ActiveMQ server to all its subscribers.

2. Provide an way for retrieving the amount of messages per priority that is
waiting to be sent to subscribers.

3. Provide counter of bytes sent by the server to all its subscribers, and
interfaces for clearing and retrieving this counter.

Please inform the classes i should be looking at and extend to get this
above functionality.

Any pointers on this would be greatly appreciated.

Sreenivas
