[jira] [Created] (BATIK-1237) Text with color renders black; alignment not followed

Eric Karnowski created BATIK-1237:
-------------------------------------

Summary: Text with color renders black; alignment not followed
                 Key: BATIK-1237
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BATIK-1237
             Project: Batik
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Eric Karnowski
         Attachments: batik-results.png

I'm using Batik with FOP to render XML as a PDF, and my SVG graphics using colored text display incorrectly—all text is black rather than color.

Center alignment is also not being honored.

Attached is an example; the left portion is how it appears in the PDF using Batik 1.10, and the right portion is the same file viewed using Chrome. The checkmark and X are unicode text; the PK should be center aligned and in color.
