Spooling In Infinite Loop

I have setup James to us a MySQL database for all stores. And I'm using
JDBCVirtualUserTable, mapping emails user@domain to user+domain.

I am simply trying to email my self a test message. I send it to
user@domain. The server accepts it, and stores it into the database spool
table. When it goes to deliver, it starts to fill up the store and
deadletter tables with copies of the email, but with Postmaster@domain. Any
help as to what I'm doing wrong? The error_message column is null and logs
dont tell me anything that I can understand.

Where did you find the RecipientIsLocal in the first place? I don't see a
sample for it in the CVS, and my own (production) config.xml has it as:

  <mailet match="All" class="JDBCVirtualUserTable">
    <table>db://maildb/VirtualUserTable</table>
  </mailet>

same as yours.

Try @localhost.  :-)

Thank you Noel. I had not even looked in the environment.xml, and wasn't
aware changing log levels was an option.

Problems that I found and resolved:
The match for the VirtualUserTable was incorrect, hadn't changed the match
so it may be incorrect for any new install. The match was
match="RecipientIsLocal", when I changed it to match="All" it no longer
looped.

Second problem I found. the VirtualUserTable is not well documented. Had
it setup for:
user | domain | user+domain
Had to change this to:
user | domain | user+domain@domain

It now works, thanks again for pointing out the debug option.

Rule #1. Turn on DEBUG for the spool manager log so that you can see which
matcher(s) and mailet(s) are involved in the logic problem.
